K-ACTE Awards
The K-ACTE Awards Program seeks to promote excellence in career and technical education by recognizing individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the field, programs that exemplify the highest standards and organizations that have conducted activities to promote and expand career and technical education. The State Awards Program is modeled off the ACTE Program.
State winners will be eligible to proceed to the regional competition in 2019 and national competition in 2020 with the exception of Kansas only awards: Young Teacher of the Year, Award of Merit, and Policymaker of the Year.

Kansas Only awards include: Young Teacher of the Year; Award of Merit; and Policymaker of the Year
Applications
This will make it much easier to send the awards on to regional and national competition with just the click of a button from the awards administrator. Kansas only will also be submitted through the online portal to make judging much easier.
All awards are administered by the K-ACTE Awards Committee. Winners will be honored during the awards session at the K-ACTE Annual Summer Conference.
