The K-ACTE Awards Program seeks to promote excellence in career and technical education by recognizing individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the field, programs that exemplify the highest standards and organizations that have conducted activities to promote and expand career and technical education. The State Awards Program is modeled off the ACTE Program.
State winners will be eligible to proceed to the regional competition in 2016 and national competition in 2017 with the exception of Kansas only awards: Young Teacher of the Year, Award of Merit, and Policymaker of the Year.
