K-ACTE 2010 Awards Booklet Online!

Nominations for the 2010 K-ACTE Awards are now being accepted until March 31, 2010. The winners of the 2010 awards will be recognized at the awards banquet during the K-ACTE Summer Conference.

McPherson HS Construction Team Wins Nationals

The Residential Construction Management Team from McPherson High School was named National Champion in Las Vegas Thursday night, January 21, 2010.  The Residential Construction Management Competition was held during the International Builders Show that is sponsored by the National Association of Home Builders and the Home Builders Institute. McPherson High School placed second at the 2009 competition that was also held in Las Vegas.

The team members are Max Archer, Preston Mossman, Adam Porter, Jacob Reese and Joel Piper.  Team coaches are Arlan Penner and Don Willits.  Mossman was given an Outstanding Student award that is sponsored by Builder Books.com.
